Happy Heart is a combination of four targeted nutritional formulas packaged together to provide convenience and comprehensive cardiovascular support.*

All W.I.N Health Institute Formulas Meet or Exceed cGMP Quality Standards

Directions: Take contents of one packet twice daily, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner. 60 Daily Dose Cardiovascular support packets per container.

In this unique formula, W.I.N Health Institute combines Niacin SR, Omega Oils 600, Red Yeast Rice, and Ultra CoQ10. Each of these formulas, packaged together as Happy Heart, contributes its own mechanisms of support that target different aspects of cardiovascular health.*

Niacin SR is a sustained-release niacin tablet manufactured using proprietary wax-coated technology that dramatically lessens flushing. This can improve compliance without reducing efficacy in comparison to
instant-release forms of niacin. Nearly every panel of experts, including the National Cholesterol Education Panel (NCEP), considers niacin important in addressing the maintenance of healthy blood lipids for support of cardiovascular health.[1] Furthermore, the ARBITER 6-HALTS Trial (n=315) concluded that niacin supports normal CIMT and may be very well suited to certain patients.*[2]

Omega Oils 600, a molecularly distilled, concentrated, mixed-tocopherol–stabilized fish oil, contains 360 mg of eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and 240 mg of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) from 1.2 g of fish oil in each enteric-coated softgel. Omega Oils 600 fish oil quality exceeds Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN) Monograph standards and meets all international safety standards. Supportive but not conclusive research shows that consumption of EPA and DHA omega-3 fatty acids may reduce the risk of coronary heart disease. Scientific evidence also supports their role in modulating the inflammatory response by influencing cell membrane composition and, therefore, eicosanoid metabolism. Furthermore, EPA gives rise to E-series resolvins, and DHA gives rise to D-series resolvins and protectins. Resolvins and protectins are mediators that support the body’s “cleanup” response to the inflammatory cascade, and they are thought to promote homeostasis.*[3-5]

Red Yeast Rice is developed by fermenting Monascus purpureus (red yeast) on commercially grown rice. The rice and yeast are then ground into a powder that is red in color. The resulting fermented, citrinin-free product contains bioactive substances that have been shown to naturally support healthy blood lipid levels that are already within the normal range. Fueled by extensive studies, scientific evidence demonstrating the safety, tolerability, and efficacy of red yeast rice continues to mount.*[6-11]

Ultra CoQ10 is a crystal-free CoQ10. A double-blind randomized clinical trial of 20 normal human volunteers with a relatively controlled diet demonstrated that this formula has far greater absorbability than powdered CoQ10 and more than twice the bioavailability of oil-based or “nano” formulas.[12] CoQ10 supports cardiovascular and energy-based needs. Evidence suggests that higher plasma CoQ10 levels help maintain a healthy heart.[13,14] It is important to note that the maintenance of CoQ10 synthesis and concentration in cells is critical to antioxidant status and energy production. CoQ10 synthesis is dependent upon the HMG-CoA reductase enzyme, and inhibition of this enzyme may reduce CoQ10 levels in the body.*
