Jaundice - Liver problems

Jaundice is not a disease, it is a symptom. It causes your eyes and skin to be yellow and it shows that your liver cannot handle the amount of bilirubin in your blood and your skin turns yellow. If you observed some of these changes on your body you should immediately go to the doctor.

If your urine is dark, you have fever, light colored stool, headaches and extreme point weakness you might be suffering from jaundice. It can be treated very easily but you must go to the doctor if you observe any of those symptoms without hesitating too much.

It is more of a symptom than a disease. It can be observed on people who suffer from hepatitis, malaria, typhoid, tuberculosis and yellow fever. So you will probably see people with yellow eyes and skin in tropical zones, because there is the biggest risk of suffering from one of those diseases.

Words from our in House Expert:

dr.-dave-bordered.jpgDr. Dave States: Jaundice comes from the liver not performing its function properly sometimes due to a disease or condition or just inflammation.  Giving the liver a good cleansing or just simply feeding it the nutrients that it is looking for are key components to success.  Many different liver support combinations and liver-colon cleanses are site wide from a variety of companies.  Drugs should be looked at carefully when presented with this problem of over toxicity.
