Diabetes Disease

Diabetes disease is in direct correlation to insulin. Insulin is like a hose used to get water. With enough insulin, glucose, which is the fuel for our bodies, can be moved into our cells necessary for life. While it is vital for the pancreas to create insulin, blood support and flow is important to help glucose reach the cells. Without insulin, or cells not accepting insulin, diabetes can occur.

There are two types of diabetes disease that impact most people: types 1 and 2. Type 2 is more common, while type 1 can involve serious complications. Gestational diabetes can occur with pregnant women and, while sometimes leading to Type 2, is usually resolved after child birth. Type 1 or 2 diabetes can be controlled, however, and sometimes near eliminated with proper diet and exercise. Otherwise it is not curable, and treatments can include insulin injections and specific diabetic medications.

If not treated, diabetes disease could lead to heart and kidney disease, stroke, eye problems and body infections, which can sometimes only be resolved through amputation of affected limbs.
A diagnosis of diabetes, no matter the specific case, can make you evaluate your food choices, as well as your general lifestyle. The diabetes disease can affect people in all walks of life, from children to adults to the elderly. Even with an ideal weight and exercise, it is possible to get diabetes, since a family history of diabetes could also play a part in your chances of getting the disease.

While diabetes and insulin have a connection, you can better ensure a disconnect from diabetes thanks to a holistic approach. You can train your mind to limit eating fatty foods, and make other small steps — such as taking more steps. Choose to park a little farther from the store to add some more exercise to your daily routine. A little prevention can go a long way to keep diabetes out of your life.

Words from Our In House Expert

dr.-dave-bordered.jpg  Dr. Dave States:
Diabetes is growing every day in our world mainly due to the excessive sugar intake from our population.  First thing is reduction of this insulting chemical to the body.  Regulating insulin is a much needed function of the body and it's chemisty.  People have been know to solve their diabetes by diet alone and most certainly by proper herbs and vitamins that support pancreatic function.
