Dehydration

Dehydration can be explored into much more than a loss of vital fluids. Of course it is simple to understand: you're losing more water than consumed. Depending on your activity, you could need more than the recommended eight glasses of water a day. It could also be a symptom to other disorders and diseases.

With more than 70 percent of your body weight made of water, it is very essential to life. If you participate in lots of strenuous work or sports, you are always told to stay hydrated, since you're bound to lose a lot of water due to sweat. Another factor that can cause complications of dehydration can be diarrhea, as your loose stools can take lots of water out of your system in a hurry.

If you suffer from a disease such as diabetes, then your elevated blood sugar levels could take away necessary water, which includes frequent urination. During more common ailments, such as the flu, your body might react negatively to certain drinks and cause you to vomit. This can also take away proper hydration.

A holistic approach is best when dealing with your health and healing. The answer is as simple as drinking more water to negate dehydration. Fruit and sugar drinks might add more taste, but for natural hydration, stick with plenty of water.

Words from Our In House Expert:

dr.-dave-bordered.jpgWater is the life blood to our entire system.  Barring extreme circumstances this situation should be never be a problem in our society.  Drinking plenty of purified water is key to proper health in general.  Some water is especially easy to digest due to either alkalization with the Kangen machine or making the molecules linear with the iwater magnet.
