Endocrine System Disorders

Endocrine system disorders can occur in many different glands. However, all of these glands are tied to one thing: hormones. The glands that make up the endocrine system are the key to open up the body to the hormones it needs to function. Hormones then become the tools to help your cells perform or control many processes in the body.

Disorders that can affect these glands can come from diabetes, sexual problems, and thyroid concerns among others. From the female ovaries to the male testes, anyone can have one of these disorders. Glands could pick up tumors and infections that impact hormone flow, as well as a break down from an injury. Most likely any kind of tumor is not cancerous, but still harm the gland's function. Sometimes it might not lower the amount of hormones, but accelerate their rate, such as in gigantism. It elevates growth hormone from the pituitary gland and can make children resemble large adults while still in elementary school.

Take note of any fatigue and weakness that could be associated with endocrine system disorders. You could use the energy that's found in natural health products, such as in Co-enzyme Q10.

Words from our In House Expert

dr.-dave-bordered.jpg   Dr. Dave States: The endocrine system is both complex and simple in its function.  Very complex in the fact that you are dealing with thousands of different chemical markers that work together in this symphony within the body.  Knowing this should tell you that only micro movements to the system are needed.  It is great to feed the system organic whole food products from Garden of Life and NutriWest.  Both of these have great glandular vitamins to level out the system.
